Junior Technical Support – $40K/yr – $45K/yr – United States – Remote

We’re seeking a passionate Support Consultant to join our Technical Support Team in Chicago. Our team doesn’t just provide IT support – we’re a group of forward-thinking individuals who collaborate closely with stakeholders to develop and execute strategies that empower consultants, clients, and guests to work effectively across our offices and client sites.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering exceptional customer service and supporting various products used by ThoughtWorkers, including Zoom video conferencing, Sophos, G Suite tools, Okta, Sumo Logic, and AWS.
• Setting up and managing Virtual Machines.

Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in operating systems such as iOS, Mac OSX, Windows, and/or Linux.
• Experience with Lenovo, Apple, and Amazon Kindle devices.
• Ability to document and analyze IT issues, and update root cause analysis in the ZenDesk ticketing system.
• Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).

Professional Skills:

• Familiarity with Macs, either professionally or personally.
• Understanding of the importance of information security.
• Experience using and supporting video conferencing tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills for hardware issues.
• Effective communication with team members, users, and partners.
• Flexibility to support the team, share knowledge, and collaborate effectively.
