The Role: Size Data Analyst
At Levi Strauss & Co., the Size Data Analyst plays a crucial role in understanding and optimizing size performance at a granular level. As a member of our Global Size Analytics Team, you’ll work at the intersection of data, merchandising, and business strategy to drive impactful size decisions across all our brands and product categories.
Reporting to the Global Sizing Digital & Analytics Lead, you’ll be the go-to person for all sizing activities. You’ll own the size-level production signal and be responsible for developing and implementing sizing strategies that align with broader business goals. Your work will have direct impact on inventory efficiency, product offerings, and overall financial performance.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on turning data into actionable insights and who enjoys working cross-functionally to drive results. You’ll be collaborating with teams in Merchandising, Sales, Allocation, Inventory Management, and Merchandise Planning to shape size grid strategies and deliver business-critical insights.
What You’ll Do:
- Create and Manage Size Profiles: Use SAS and related tools to create size profiles for specific product segments and locations.
- Analytics and Reporting: Produce meaningful analytics to guide business discussions, enhancing size productivity and optimizing inventory investment. Maintain reports and analysis to drive insights into size offerings and performance.
- Strategic Collaboration: Partner with various teams to drive effective size grid strategies, offering data-driven recommendations for size offerings across all product categories and regions.
- Insights for Key Decisions: Provide informed analysis and support on size offerings, respond to sizing requests, and assist in size-out investigations.
- Timely Coordination: Align sizing activities and timelines with key business milestones, ensuring key sizing deliverables are met.
- Training and Support: Serve as a subject matter expert on sizing tools and systems. Train and support teams on effective use of sizing tools and systems.
- Machine Learning Integration: Review and validate machine learning-based size profiles, providing feedback to data scientists to enhance the model. Participate in user acceptance testing to improve digital sizing tools.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in merchandise retailing or a related field, with demonstrated abilities in merchandise planning and data analysis.
- Technical Proficiency: High proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel. Medium proficiency with Tableau and Power BI. Basic knowledge of SQL and Python is also required.
- Analytical & Communication Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret and communicate insights from complex quantitative data. Ability to present and explain findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Data Visualization & Storytelling: Skilled in visualizing data and using storytelling techniques to present actionable insights.
Compensation & Benefits
The expected salary for this role ranges from $57,800 to $91,200 per year, depending on experience and location. We offer a competitive total rewards package, including:
