Why This Role is Exciting
As a Senior Data Annotation Specialist at AuditBoard, you will be instrumental in shaping the data that fuels our AI-driven solutions. You’ll lead data annotation efforts, ensuring the accuracy, relevance, and quality of our datasets, which are vital for achieving true automation in the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) space. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you’ll utilize advanced annotation tools to enhance our AI capabilities. Key Responsibilities
- Establish and lead the data curation and annotation program, focusing on high-quality curated synthetic data for the GRC domain.
- Perform initial data labeling and annotation to set standards and best practices.
- Develop and implement processes for engaging external annotation services such as Scale and Appen.
- Collaborate with machine learning engineers, prompt engineers, and subject matter experts to ensure data meets project needs and maintains domain relevance.
- Conduct quality assurance checks to uphold data accuracy and consistency.
- Document processes and guidelines to facilitate clear communication and operational efficiency.
Attributes of a Successful Candidate
- Experience in data annotation and curation, particularly in AI and machine learning projects.
- Proficiency with annotation tools and platforms like Labelbox, Appen, Scale, or similar services.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to data quality and accuracy.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience in establishing and managing annotation programs.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- A background in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) or related fields is a plus.
