Junior Accountant

At Al Haktur IT Solutions, we are looking for a Junior Accountant who will be essential in managing our daily accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy, and maintaining compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting operations within your assigned area.
• Ensure timely verification and accurate allocation of each bill before posting it in the system.
• Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions.
• Provide assistance to team members within the department as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to deliver financial insights, and promptly investigate and resolve disputes.
• Work closely with auditors during preliminary and year-end audit processes.
• Produce error-free accounting documents and reports.
• Participate in setting financial standards and forecasting processes.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS mandatory Accounting Standards.
• Utilize advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and various accounting software.

Job Specifications:

• Excellent knowledge and proven experience in bookkeeping and accounting practices.
• Strong background in credit collection and/or accounts payable functions.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including V-lookup and pivot tables.
• In-depth understanding of IFRS principles and UAE statutory regulations such as VAT and corporate taxation.
• Experience with general ledger functions and month-end/year-end closing processes.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software packages.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Aptitude for quantitative analysis and problem-solving.
• Experience in the automotive industry is advantageous.
