JOB SUMMARY

As a member of the Human Resources support team at our property, you will collaborate with HR colleagues to manage daily HR activities. This includes overseeing recruitment, compensation, and training and development. Your role is pivotal in delivering HR services that meet employee needs and drive business success. You will also ensure strict compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and operational protocols.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED; with 3 years’ experience in HR, management operations, or related fields
    OR
  • 2-year degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related major; with 1 year experience in HR, management operations, or related fields

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

Managing Recruitment and Hiring Process:

  • Assist in interviewing and hiring HR team members as required.
  • Maintain relationships with external recruitment sources and attend job fairs.
  • Network with local organizations to identify potential candidates.
  • Ensure compliance and quality in candidate selection processes.

Administering and Educating Employee Benefits:

  • Work with unemployment services provider to handle claims and audits.
  • Attend unemployment hearings and manage related reports.
  • Ensure resources are available for employee benefit administration.

Managing Employee Development:

  • Support departmental orientation and ongoing training programs.
  • Ensure cross-training for operational support.
  • Coordinate new hire orientation for a positive onboarding experience.

Maintaining Employee Relations:

  • Develop effective employee communication channels.
  • Review and maintain disciplinary documentation.
  • Address employee concerns promptly and appropriately.

Managing Legal and Compliance Practices:

  • Maintain and secure employee files and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Facilitate drug testing processes where applicable.
  • Communicate property rules and safety policies effectively.
