Data Analytics Manager – United States – Remote
Panasonic North America is focused on leveraging data to optimize its supply chain operations. We are looking for a highly skilled and innovative Data Analytics Manager to lead our data and reporting transformation efforts within the supply chain function. This leader will manage a team responsible for delivering actionable insights through advanced data analysis, performance dashboards, and key business reports that directly support our Logistics and Procurement teams.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Data Analytics Manager, you will:
- Lead the transformation of supply chain data, reporting, and business intelligence processes to empower real-time decision-making across Logistics and Procurement functions.
- Manage the creation and delivery of performance reports, dashboards, and financial data, helping executives and operational managers understand key supply chain performance, trends, and areas for improvement.
- Work closely with the VP of Supply Chain, Directors of Procurement, Strategy, and Logistics Operations, as well as sales and operations teams, to align data reporting efforts with broader supply chain strategies and business goals.
- Ensure timely, high-quality reporting, including KPI scorecards and business performance reviews, using PowerBI and other tools.
- Analyze key supply chain areas such as inbound logistics, warehousing, and outbound shipping to identify inefficiencies and propose data-driven solutions.
- Oversee procurement cost analysis, project savings tracking, and business case support for lean improvement initiatives.
- Develop and manage benchmarks to measure Panasonic’s competitive positioning in the supply chain industry.
- Coordinate with the IT Department and external vendors to maintain data governance, improve data quality, and enhance reporting functionality.
- Lead and mentor a team of one direct analyst and 3-4 remote outsourced analysts, ensuring clear communication, effective task management, and adherence to reporting deadlines.
- Serve as a key liaison between Panasonic, internal stakeholders, and third-party vendors, ensuring smooth collaboration and timely report submission.
- Drive continuous improvements in data quality, reporting processes, and business intelligence tools.
Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A BA degree in Data Analytics, Business, or Logistics, with preference for advanced degrees.
- 7+ years of experience in supply chain analytics, with a strong background in logistics or procurement.
- Proven experience in leading and managing data analysis functions, preferably in a supply chain context.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI; familiarity with Business Objects is preferred.
- Strong understanding of supply chain operations, including logistics and procurement.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to senior leadership and various stakeholders.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to manage cross-functional projects, collaborate with diverse teams, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Some travel required (approximately 5%).

Salary:
The salary range for this position is $115,000 – $130,000, with additional bonuses and incentives based on performance.
