Data Analyst- Business Intelligence – United States – Remote
Lucina Analytics, a partner of Unified Women’s Healthcare, is a data-driven SaaS company that provides the leading maternity analytics platform for health plans, providers, and public entities.
Role Overview
As a Business Intelligence Data Analyst, you will analyze healthcare data and create reports and dashboards to support both internal and external clients in managing maternity populations. This position reports to the Senior Manager of Data Analytics at Lucina.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop dashboards to monitor daily production data and assess the quality of algorithm results for assigned maternity populations.
- Gather and understand reporting requirements from clients, designing dashboards that meet their needs and optimize results.
- Collaborate with clinical operations to create key indicator reports.
- Support development and integration testing for enhancements in algorithm logic, new products/services, and technology applications.
- Review exception cases to assess the status of maternity episodes and address client inquiries.
Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases and data warehouses, such as SQL Server, Oracle, or Postgres.
- Experience in analyzing healthcare data, preferably claims data.
- Proficiency in Power BI, Power Query, and DAX.
- Familiarity with Databricks is a plus, but not required.
- Understanding of CI/CD principles is a plus, but not required.
- Experience with Python is a plus, but not required.
- Knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud environments is a plus, but not required.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across internal and external teams.
