Data Analysis Specialist – United States – Remote

The Ministry of Education, Arts and Culture of Namibia is seeking the support of a Peace Corps Response Volunteer (PCRV) to serve as a Data Analysis Specialist. The Directorate of Education, Arts & Culture within the Otjozondjupa Regional Council collects extensive data and reports from schools that require detailed analysis, monitoring, and implementation. However, due to a lack of technical expertise, this important work often goes unaddressed. As such, the Regional Office has identified a critical need for additional support to effectively manage data processes and contribute to the planning and development efforts of the Ministry.

The PCRV will work closely with the Chief Education Officer for Planning and Development to design and implement data collection systems, ensuring that accurate and relevant data is gathered from schools. The volunteer will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the data by validating and cleaning the collected information. In addition, the PCRV will co-facilitate workshops focused on best practices in data collection, analysis, and accuracy, and will provide training and ongoing support to school staff on effective data collection techniques and the importance of maintaining data quality.
