POSITION SUMMARY
As a Housekeeping Inspector at The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi Grand Canal, your primary responsibility will be to uphold our renowned Gold Standards by ensuring the impeccable cleanliness and quality of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities. You will oversee the inspection of rooms post-cleaning, run room status reports, identify discrepancies, and prioritize room cleaning tasks. Acting as a liaison between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry departments, you will facilitate seamless operations and promptly address any issues with room assignments.
Additionally, you will support Housekeeping management by assisting in daily activities, including hiring, training, scheduling, and motivating team members. Compliance with company policies and safety procedures is paramount, and you will be expected to report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries promptly. Your role will also involve maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor while providing exceptional service to guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
- Related Work Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Supervisory Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a supervisory capacity preferred.
- License or Certification: None required.
